The complete unit is metal and the very fine 3-way fluid head is as good as my Davis & Sanford v-12 head.the Legs will splay out to three very low angles with a bit of careful when you do. Of course, using the button to help as you area them. The head is made fully of a heavier grade metal than the legs and all the joints are a little slow to respond but smartly price the time you put in to getting that picture. It comes with a nice green bag, two allen wrenches to make some adjustments, two adapters for your binoc’s or camera and the handle is separate in the bag but is very easy to attach. the metal head will also adjust up to a portrait function and if you are a close study, you will word that it has four various positions. I would of given this buy five stars but I expected more from it.

i'm a total n00b when it comes to things like this. i recently got my pentax k-x two or three months ago, and i've learned quite a bit about photography since i finally got hands-on experience.

Basic Furnace Cycle w/ Hot Surface Igniter | Diy Forums

The cycle is as follows: When the thermostat calls for heat the small draft blower comes on. After a short interval while this blower sends an air signal to a diaphragm valve, you should see a red hot glowing device in the gas stream. This is the ‘hot surface igniter. Once the gas valve gets a feed-back signal that this is glowing, it opens, allowing the gas (main burners] to ignite. This furnace, and others, has a sensor to confirm the main burner gas has ignited. If this fails, it will shut off the gas valve. Sometimes this sensor can be cleaned with light sanding. After the ‘fan control’ is brought to its ‘turn on’ temp., the blower starts. When the thermostat is satisfied, it shuts off the gas valve. When the ‘fan control’ is cooled back down to its ‘turn off’ temp., it shuts off the blower. The furnace has completed its cycle and waits for the next time the thermostat calls for heat.
