Scott, on the Mac, v2.3 with 64 bit it is blazing fast compared to all previous versions. And, much more stable to boot – I have yet to have it crash once since updating to v2.3. There are still a few processes that are slower than I would prefer, but no where near the lag time as before… there are only occasionally noticeable.
@Chris, I don’t mind the micro updates, at least I’m not paying for those. Going from Capture NX2 to CaptureNX3 will cost money, gauranteed! What irks me is the need to go to LightRoom4 just to get D4 RAW support, no reason for it, except to extort more money out of me….well at least the upgrade is only $79! Did I just say that? Aghhhh…they have me brain washed already!!! BTW, if you have LR1 and you jump to LR4, it is only $79 to upgrade; and this holds true for LR2 to LR4 upgraders. So all of us that have supported LR over the years by continuing to upgrade, or have recently bought LR3.6, we are all getting screwed. IMO, LR3.6 to LR4 upgraders should have been 20% maximum of retail for full, LR2 to LR4 40%, and LR1 to LR4 60%.

This product is amazing and perfect for what I need. Works as advertised. I agonized over this some distance too long.this Is more than enough replacement for the Nikkor lens I dropped. I was very impressed with the satisfactory of this nikon nikkor 3.5 4.5 ai s lens 35 105mm. Bought this lens to use as a wide attitude landscape lens. It is brilliant so far. The sharpness is excellent, it focuses fast and zooms easily. I would reccommend this lens to every person looking for a lens in this focal range, in particular for the price. Short but sweet: this superlens is what you need. If you can handiest pack one, preserve this one connected to your Nikon dslr and leave the others at the house. I own a couple of sigma lenses in addition to this one, and there are certainly times when I want them. The 10-20 (sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 Ex dc hsm Lens for Nikon digital slr cameras) and the Nikon 50mm f1.8 (nikon 50mm f/1.8d Af Nikkor Lens for Nikon digital slr cameras) being the other two “go-to” lenses that I carry nearly everywhere. But I am finding more and more that I can get the shot I need with the superlens. The excellent is outstanding. the front of the lens does now not rotate as the lens is focused or zoomed, so I leave the protected fashioned hood on all the time. Very satisfied with both the carrier and the nikon itself.
